More viewers have won smartphones, modems, recharge cards and cash prizes in the Trivia and voting exercises in the ongoing Globacom-sponsored Dance with Peter reality TV show.

Reward for voting and taking part in the trivia was introduced to create excitement among viewers of the weekly dance-oriented TV show. Voters stand a chance to win iPhone 5 handsets, Glo internet Wi-Fi modems and Glo recharge cards just for voting for contestants of their choice. Those who participate in the Trivia game can win Glo recharge cards, Glo Mifi modems and cash prizes with an ultimate prize of N1million cash prize. 

The most recent viewers who emerged winners by voting for their favourite contestants in the dancing contest include Omeje Ibrahim Nafisat, a student of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Christian Obiora Iheadinotu, from FCT Abuja, and Charles Udo, from Isolo, Lagos, who all won iPhone 5 handsets.

In the same vein, Mrs. Blessing Jenewari from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Mrs. Peace Alozie of Oshodi, Lagos, and Geoffrey Ochiri of Onipanu, Lagos,  won Glo Mifi internet modems in the voting exercise, while Mrs. Adeola Oluwakemi Afeez , Mrs. Blessing Ekpang from Abuja and Happiness Ordia of Palmgrove, Lagos, won Glo high speed internet modems.

Viewers who emerged winners in the Trivia exercise include Mr James Orija from Ikorodu, Lagos, won N50,000 cash prize, with another subscriber, Mrs. Blessing Irrih from Surulere, Lagos, winning N5,000 recharge card. Another winner in the Trivia is Mr Bello Olanrewaju of Lekki, Lagos, who won a Glo Mifi.

One of the winners, Omeje Nafisat, in an interview she granted after collecting her iPhone5 from Globacom’s office in Abuja, said: “I feel great and honoured. Even though I have been voting since the show went on air, I never expected to win. iPhone 5 is a dream phone, especially for a student like me and I am so glad to have won it,” she exclaimed.

Mr. James Orija, who won N50, 000 cash prize also said: “It feels very nice to win the money.  Even if one is a millionaire, it still feels great to win N50, 000 by just playing the game. I thank Glo and I hope to win more as I will keep voting and playing the Trivia,” he stated.

The show sponsor, Globacom, in a statement, said the public can vote for their preferred contestant by sending his or her code to 55518 at the cost of N50 per SMS, while those interested in playing the Trivia game should look out for the Question of the Week during the show broadcast and text Trivia and the answer to the code 55518.

Dance with Peter runs on Africa Magic Channel 153 on DSTV at 7 p.m. on Saturdays and on African Independent Television (AIT) at 5 p.m. on Sundays. It also airs on MTV Base on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
